Construction Laborer – Road Construction

We are a road construction company seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. No prior construction experience is required — candidates who demonstrate initiative and a strong work ethic will have the opportunity to learn specialized roles and advance within the company. We prefer to promote from within, and this position is a direct path to long-term career growth. Laborers at our company may work across multiple departments, including asphalt paving, sitework, and pipe and utility installation, giving entry-level candidates broad exposure to the road construction trade.

Responsibilities

Assist asphalt crews with paving operations, including raking, shoveling, and finishing tasks
Support sitework crews with grading, excavation, and site preparation activities
Assist pipe and utility crews with underground installation of storm, sewer, and water lines
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Follow directions from foremen and crew leads efficiently and safely
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards

Qualifications

No prior experience required; any construction or utility background is a plus
Interest in learning asphalt paving, sitework, or underground utility installation encouraged
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
Reliable transportation to main Citra yard
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
