We are a road construction company seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing commercial truck tires and heavy equipment tires in the field. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires mechanical aptitude, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work independently at job sites across the region. Responsibilities

Perform on-site tire repair, replacement, and maintenance on commercial trucks and heavy construction equipment
Mount, dismount, balance, and inflate tires in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Inspect tires for wear, damage, and pressure issues and make repair or replacement recommendations
Respond to roadside and job site service calls in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate service records, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment serviced
Manage and inventory tire stock and supplies on the service vehicle
Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA standards
Coordinate with equipment operators, mechanics, and supervisors to minimize downtime

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial or heavy equipment tire service required
Familiarity with earthmover, OTR (off-the-road), and commercial truck tire applications preferred
Knowledge of tire mounting tools, bead breakers, torque wrenches, and inflation equipment
Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physically demanding work
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field
Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to safety
